This post is part of an ongoing challenge to share a little joy I have found each day of this year, and perhaps for the rest of my life. I hope you enjoy it!

January 20th, 2020

There I was, a proud and strong man, looking down upon my enemy without fear, a magnificent example of what it means to be a courageous human, and then…the wave hit me and tossed me around like debris.

Frolicking in the water and attempting to stand against the beating waves is one of the most fun, and exhausting, things you can do while enjoying the coast.

It can really knock you out by the end of the day, but just throwing yourself against those darn waves and trying to keep yourself from being thrown back onto shore is so fun.

Little things, little joys.

Never forget.
