This post is part of an ongoing challenge to share a little joy I have found each day of this year, and perhaps for the rest of my life. I hope you enjoy it!

Time is our most precious commodity. It is the judge of our lives, with us in every moment, through the good and the bad.
When someone chooses to give you their time, whether a few minutes or a few hours, or perhaps days and weeks, years and a lifetime, we should be in constant awareness of that gift they are blessing us with.
No one owes us anything in this life, we are all free agents simply choosing to give our seconds and hours in service to others and to our chosen projects.
I have been blessed to come across certain people in my travels, sometimes for just a few hours, who touched my heart with their stories, with their beauty, with their knowledge and wisdom.
Letting them know how grateful I am that they took the time to talk to me, share their words, re-energize me, fill my cup up just a little bit more, is extremely important.
As I sat in a cafe here in Ubud, I had the opportunity to speak to a stranger who gave me a taste of magic and mystery, shifting perspectives, another view of the world that I never would have had if not for them. I am so thankful for that gift.
Never forget to show gratitude for the little pieces of joy others bring into your life.
As always, stay healthy and let your geek freak fly!
